Would plasmapheresis eliminate pathogenic autoantibodies more quickly and safely than IV IG? Submitted by R. Slocum, M.D. (general practitioner, 45 years)
Has anyone noticed the remarkable similarity of symptoms between ME / CFS and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)? In the vasodilation of ME / CFS, perceived volume loss is hidden in the mesenteric vasculature. In CHF, the volume loss, and subsequent reduced atrial filling pressure, is visibly pooled in the legs, as edema.
